This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage accounts payable transactions, including Non-PO and PO/3-way match.
• Offer support and direction to the Accounts Payable team as necessary for transaction processing.
• Carry out reconciliations for assigned vendor accounts.
• Participate in the Month-end Close activities.
• Create documentation for policies, procedures, and workflows pertaining to designated responsibilities.
• Timely address vendor and internal communications via phone or email.
• Assess all invoices for coding accuracy and verify that approvals align with the Delegation of Authority (DOA).
• Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for accounts payable processing in compliance with company Policies and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to investigate issues and identify as well as resolve process challenges.
• Fulfill additional duties as needed to support the Accounting Department.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses and projects as requested.
• Solid understanding of fundamental accounting practices.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Epicor, or other ERP systems is preferred.
• Open to change and eager to acquire new skills.
• Ability to follow up on outstanding issues.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Must exhibit self-motivation and a proactive approach.
• Capable of prioritizing and completing tasks with competing deadlines.
• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal, across various levels and departments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
