Accounts Payable Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise daily accounts payable operations to ensure accuracy and timely completion, which includes reviewing coding on purchase requisitions, onboarding vendors, processing invoices, following up on invoice approvals, and assessing approved invoices along with vendor payments.

• Oversee one Accounts Payable Specialist.

• Administer the credit card and virtual card processes.

• Handle vendor communications through the accounts payable email inbox.

• Drive resolution for any accounts payable inquiries and issues.

• Establish and uphold systems, procedures, and policies to ensure compliance with company guidelines and SOX regulations in accounts payable functions.

• Collaborate with the IT team to address and resolve all system-related errors or issues.

• Manage month-end close cutoffs and deadlines.

• Work alongside internal business stakeholders and the procurement team to address all outstanding accounts payable inquiries and issues.

• Identify and propose enhancements for accounts payable processes and efficiencies.

• Complete the annual 1099 process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with Coupa is required; familiarity with Netsuite ERP is a plus.

• Advanced knowledge of accounts payable with experience in full-cycle accounts payable processes.

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Manager.

• In-depth knowledge of reviewing invoices for accuracy, matching invoices to purchase orders, and following up for necessary approvals.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze and effectively communicate information.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Teams.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
