Superintendent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Oversee all activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project timelines and blueprints.

• Manage the daily operations of all on-site staff, including subcontractors and suppliers, to maintain workflow and avoid delays.

• Ensure that all work adheres to quality standards and meets regulatory requirements.

• Conduct daily safety briefings and hold weekly toolbox safety discussions.

• Operate construction machinery as necessary to achieve project objectives, ensuring proficiency in relevant equipment.

• Inspire and lead on-site teams, fostering a culture of high performance.

• Keep precise documentation and reports regarding project progress on-site.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 7 years of experience in overseeing heavy/highway construction projects.

• Demonstrated capability to manage on-site operations both effectively and efficiently.

• Proficient in interpreting plans, specifications, and executing construction layouts from surveyor's stakes.

• Required experience in operating construction equipment, with the ability to use machinery as needed on-site.

• Strong familiarity with DOT, COE, and other regulatory guidelines is highly preferred.
