Summer Analyst – Healthcare Economics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Import, process, and analyze data utilizing SAS, Stata, and Python.

• Prepare technical memos that elucidate the cleaning and analysis of extensive, intricate datasets.

• Identify shortcomings in data production and develop data questionnaires.

• Review and record generated documents and depositions.

• Extract essential information for analysis and reporting.

• Conduct research, including the identification of relevant peer-reviewed literature.

• Provide support to experts testifying in antitrust, class action, and various commercial disputes.

• Engage in economic analysis and econometrics projects pertaining to healthcare litigation and public policy.

• Execute research, carry out statistical analyses, validate findings, and distill complex information into presentations and deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Rising Seniors pursuing a major in an analytical discipline (e.g., Economics, Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science).

• A minimum GPA of 3.5.

• Completed coursework in economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, data science, or other quantitative disciplines.

• Basic knowledge of SAS, Stata, Python, or similar statistical software.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capacity to demonstrate proficiency in data presentation.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Committed to seeing projects through to their conclusion.

• Effective time management skills and a keen attention to detail.
