This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and motivate a skilled, multi-disciplinary team responsible for delivering protection and control designs for utilities and EPC partners.
• Provide strategic oversight on project resources, budgets, and client relationships.
• Guide engineers through intricate transmission and distribution projects.
• Manage resources, performance, and development for an expanding national substation group.
• Review and approve design packages, drawings, and specifications to ensure technical excellence.
• Collaborate with leadership on business development and recruiting efforts.
• Foster a culture of learning, innovation, collaboration, and inclusion within the team.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering along with an active PE license; PMP certification is a plus.
• Over 15 years of experience in protection and control or power systems engineering, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Advanced knowledge in P&C engineering for high-voltage substations.
• Experience in developing and reviewing one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, substation protection schematics, and control wiring diagrams.
• Comprehensive understanding of utility industry standards.
