This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Create and develop one-line and three-line diagrams for substations.

• Design and produce AC/DC schematics.

• Develop layouts for substation panels.

• Create wiring diagrams and cable schedules for substations.

• Design SCADA and communication diagrams.

• Prepare point-to-point wiring diagrams.

• Collaborate with physical, settings, and drafting teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Analyze and integrate vendor information into design outputs.

• Adhere to client standards relevant to the project.

• Conduct and guarantee compliance with company QA/QC processes on all design submissions.

• Commit to ongoing enhancement of engineering, technical, and professional knowledge, skills, and performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree or High School Diploma.

• Experience in substation (transmission) design.

• Over 1 year of hands-on wiring design experience, including single lines, schematics, and relay panels.

• More than 1 year of experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Inventor, and MicroStation.

• Familiarity with AC/DC control diagrams to accurately execute point-to-point wiring tasks.

• Capability to assist lead engineers with initial design specifications.

• Proficient user of Microsoft products, particularly Excel and Word.

• Understanding of the practical application of NEC, NESC, IEEE, and ANSI standards.

• Knowledge of design methods, tools, and principles essential for creating technical plans, blueprints, and drawings.

• Must possess authorization to work in the United States.
