This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop conceptual designs and execution strategies.
• Create engineering and project cost estimates along with schedules.
• Conduct and document quality reviews for fellow engineers and designers.
• Generate construction drawings, documents, calculations, and studies for medium and high voltage substation projects.
• Oversee the technical execution of power delivery engineering projects or tasks.
• Prepare calculations, studies, and reports for substation and power systems projects that align with internal and client standards and requirements.
• Collaborate and coordinate with small multi-disciplinary project teams (Civil, Structural, Physical, P&C, Transmission Line) to deliver substation projects.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Substation/Power Delivery sector.
• Proficiency in high voltage substation design ranging from 12kV to 500kV.
• Capability to interpret and apply standards such as IEEE, IEC, NESC, as well as client-specific standards.
• Strong preference for outstanding written and verbal communication skills, robust analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent organizational capabilities.
• Experience with power system calculations (including AC station service, DC battery sizing, and Voltage Drop/Cable Selection) is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
