Substation Design, Electrical Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Executes specific and limited aspects of a larger assignment under the guidance of an experienced engineer.

• Collects and correlates fundamental engineering data by following established and clearly defined procedures.

• Engages in detailed or routine engineering tasks that involve calculations and relatively straightforward tests.

• Suggests methods to address new challenges that arise.

• Recognizes inconsistencies in results.

• Offers support to junior engineers.

• Conducts tasks in alignment with the agreed budget and timeline under moderate supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or proven equivalence of experience and/or education.

• Proficiency in high voltage substation design.

• EIT Certification.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Bentley Microstation.
