Subject Matter Expert – Retail Trade & Store Operations, English/Tamil

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop realistic Retail Trade scenarios in Tamil or English that are based on Indian operational contexts (e.g., store operations, customer service escalations, inventory management, pharmacy workflows, retail compliance, fraud prevention, sales supervision, branch coordination).

• Modify structured evaluation rubrics for operational problem-solving, customer interactions, retail decision-making, and compliance-related tasks.

• Assess AI and human-generated responses for factual accuracy, adherence to policies, customer service quality, and operational realism.

• Contribute to the creation of “gold standard” solutions that embody best practices within Indian retail, pharmacy, and commercial operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Tamil with strong professional English skills.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Retail, Store Operations, Pharmacy Operations, Commercial Management, Loss Prevention, or Retail Investigations.

• Experience in one or more relevant roles: Retail Sales Supervision, Store or Operations Management, Pharmacist or Pharmacy Operations, Retail Security, Loss Prevention, Fraud Investigation, Customer Experience, or Multi-Branch Retail Operations.

• In-depth understanding of customer service workflows, retail operations, compliance procedures, inventory management, and Indian retail environments.
