This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Act as a MES expert for manufacturing execution processes within pharmaceutical environments.
• Participate in defining and reviewing Process Requirement Specifications (PRS) and functional designs.
• Provide guidance on recipe design, Electronic Batch Records (EBR), and manufacturing processes.
• Drive standardization and harmonization initiatives through templates, libraries, and reusable best practices.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Validation, and IT teams to align business requirements with MES system capabilities.
• Engage in the design and review of integrations between MES and other corporate or plant systems.
• Support the definition of functional architectures and data flows related to manufacturing execution.
• Assist in testing, validation, deployment, and hypercare activities.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and serve as a mentor for other team members.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and governance of MES solutions.
• Proven experience working with MES solutions within the pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry.
• Involvement in implementation, deployment, support, or evolution projects of MES systems.
• Solid knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, Electronic Batch Records (EBR), and plant operations.
• Experience working with integrations between MES and other corporate or industrial systems.
• Good understanding of regulated environments and validation processes.
• Experience with MES platforms such as PAS-X, Opcenter, Syncade, PharmaSuite, Camstar, POMSnet, or similar solutions.
• Experience in integrations with SAP, LIMS, automation systems, data historians, or other manufacturing systems.
• Knowledge of GxP, GAMP 5, CSV/CSA, and Data Integrity principles.
• Ability to lead workshops and act as a functional and technical reference on MES topics.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience facilitating knowledge transfer and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work in international settings and on global projects.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English (oral and written).
