Subject Matter Expert – Client Servicing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee client inquiries and requests related to investment accounting, asset classes, and financial markets.

• Provide timely and precise information regarding Financial Statements and Analytics Reporting.

• Execute operational tasks including account setup, client lockdowns, compliance, and reconciliation validation.

• Work closely with clients to foster valuable relationships and improve their Clearwater user experience.

• Verify investment data against third-party market data sources and utilize proprietary internal tools for reconciling investment transactions.

• Utilize knowledge bases and documentation, employing internal tools and resources to proactively address client queries and issues.

• Manage workflow based on productivity and quality metrics, prioritizing critical or high-importance tasks.

• Engage in long-term team and client-related projects requiring collaboration with other internal teams.

• Address complex client inquiries effectively.

• Assist in the training, development, and coaching of junior staff members, while supervising their work.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth understanding of investment accounting, financial statements, amortization, interest income, and other accounting principles.

• Knowledge of the core offerings in Accounting, Compliance, Risk, and Performance reporting.

• Intermediate knowledge of fixed income and equity investments; a basic understanding of alternative security types is preferred.

• Previous experience in finance and/or accounting.

• Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.

• Excellent attention to detail and proficient documentation skills.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Outstanding problem-solving capabilities.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or a Financial/Business-related discipline.

• Over 5 years of relevant experience.
