This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• The Student Manager acts as the main liaison for clients, ensuring the accurate, timely, and effective communication of all company messages.
• Conduct high-level research under the Consultant’s guidance to meet client needs.
• Analyze and suggest schools that align with the client’s academic interests, extracurricular strengths, and personal preferences, employing a data-driven method to guarantee the best fit.
• Investigate and summarize admission requirements, necessary documents, deadlines, and unique application elements for various colleges and universities tailored to each client's profile.
• Identify, assess, and compile information on appropriate summer programs that correspond with client interests and aspirations.
• Research, curate, and recommend a selection of relevant internships, academic competitions, volunteer opportunities, and community service initiatives customized to the client’s academic and extracurricular profile.
• Gather, organize, update, and maintain thorough client information to provide personalized services based on individual needs and requirements while ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of all data handled.
• Coordinate and oversee daily office activities in partnership with team members, clients, and other departments to ensure a seamless workflow and effective communication.
• Monitor and assist in the execution of administrative and logistical processes across the team, including managing all incoming and outgoing client communications, such as emails and written correspondence.
• Direct inquiries to the suitable College Team member, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
• Provide comprehensive administrative assistance, including scheduling, document preparation, and meeting coordination.
• Execute onboarding tasks for new staff or students, ensuring all records are maintained and updated accurately.
• Prepare and sustain regular reports and dashboards to aid decision-making and highlight key metrics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Creative Writing, or related fields.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with consultants, written correspondence with clients, and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to adjust communication style to suit various audiences and contexts, ensuring clarity and professionalism at all times.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to identifying challenges and formulating strategic solutions.
• Proven experience in applying problem-solving skills to complex situations, fostering continuous improvement and innovation.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using productivity software, including Google Docs, Google Sheets, and other collaborative platforms.
• Skilled in navigating web-based business tools such as Gmail, Slack, and similar communication or project management systems to promote efficient workflow and information sharing.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities, capable of handling multiple demands, prioritizing tasks effectively, and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality.
• Experience working with diverse children, teenagers, young adults, and their families in educational or community contexts.
• Proven ability to communicate and collaborate across school systems or institutions, utilizing various channels (e.g., email, phone, in-person meetings) for clear and effective information exchange.
• Experience in successfully working within multidisciplinary teams, leveraging the diverse skills, abilities, and knowledge of colleagues to achieve common goals.
• Proven capacity to cultivate a collaborative and inclusive team environment, contributing to group problem-solving and project execution.
• Experience working during PST hours is preferred.
• Previous experience with an education consulting company that specializes in college admissions is preferred.
