📋 Description

• Engage in training focused on suicide prevention and crisis intervention.

• Utilize effective de-escalation techniques and empathy to assist individuals experiencing a crisis.

• Connect those in crisis with suitable resources for support.

• Uphold appropriate boundaries and maintain confidentiality and privacy when interacting with individuals in distress.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be enrolled in degree programs such as Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, or General Studies with a focus in these fields.

• Currently attending classes as part of a degree program at SNHU.

• Participation in work-study as a component of the financial aid package.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Completion and passing of a background check is required.

• A personal laptop or desktop computer with reliable internet access is necessary.
