This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Deliver comprehensive virtual prenatal genetic counseling services for maternal-fetal medicine practices, catering to a varied patient demographic.
• Assist with a results reporting program for several clients by effectively communicating genetic findings to patients through an innovative genetic reporting method.
• Have the chance to offer direct patient care for an array of intricate cases derived from a broad referral network.
• Engage in professional development opportunities, including drafting abstracts and publications, educating physicians, and participating in various projects.
• Gain access to the knowledge and expertise of a nationwide collective of medical geneticists, biochemical and molecular geneticists, along with over 100 counseling professionals.
• A Master's degree in Human Genetics or Genetic Counseling.
• Certification from the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) or Active Candidate Status for ABGC.
• A minimum of 2 years of Genetic Counseling experience following the completion of the Master's program.
• Multi-State Genetic Counselor licensure or the ability to secure it.
