Structural Steel Detailer – Advance Steel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Create comprehensive 2D fabrication drawings for structural steel projects utilizing Auto-desk Advance Steel.

• Analyze and interpret engineering and architectural drawings to generate precise documentation.

• Prepare and distribute shop drawings and related documentation for fabrication and construction purposes.

• Maintain professional communication with clients and internal stakeholders through email and phone.

• Utilize Microsoft Office applications for documentation and project communication.

• Adhere to project timelines to deliver accurate, high-quality drawings.

• Contribute to enhancements in design and drafting processes.

• Assist in coordination with fabricators and builders to ensure constructability.

• Keep organized drawing files, revisions, and project documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline; technical or vocational training in drafting is also acceptable.

• 3+ years of experience in structural steel fabrication drawing or detailing, or equivalent experience.

• Strong expertise in Auto-desk Advance Steel.

• Proficient in AutoCAD.

• Solid understanding of structural steel fabrication and construction processes.

• General computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey precise information to a diverse clientele.

• Detail-oriented with robust problem-solving abilities and a commitment to precision work.

• Trade background (boilermaker, fabricator, metalwork) is highly valued.

• Experience in 3D modeling is a plus.
