Structural Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Oversee a variety of projects while collaborating with team members and subcontractors.

• Manage and address client inquiries and requirements effectively.

• Utilize technical expertise in structural engineering principles.

• Act as a technical consultant for other team members.

• Evaluate design and production outputs, ensuring adherence to industry standards and company policies.

• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth.

• Assist in proposal preparation and business development initiatives.

• Conduct structural assessments, design, and construction-phase services for both private and public clients.

• Engage in projects encompassing various sectors, including commercial, industrial, manufacturing, mixed-use, bridges, transportation, energy, telecommunications, water/wastewater, and additional structures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.

• 4-9 years of experience in civil engineering.

• Licensed Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain licensure within six months.

• Proficiency in concrete and steel design.

• Preferred: Experience with Industrial Mechanical/Electrical Support structures.

• Preferred: Knowledge of building shells.

• Preferred: Expertise in transportation structure design.

• Preferred: Two years of project management experience with small projects.

• Capability to handle multiple priorities effectively.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of an engineering team.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proven leadership and supervisory experience within a team setting.

• Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management.

• Ability to foster positive and collaborative partnerships.
