This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +1 more state.
• Execute structural analysis and design for concrete, steel, and masonry structures.
• Carry out investigations of existing conditions and compile related reports.
• Generate structural drawings and specifications that adhere to building codes.
• Collaborate across disciplines with various teams to facilitate project implementation.
• Offer support during the construction phase, including reviews of shop drawings and responses to RFIs.
• Demonstrate flexibility to undertake and complete various additional tasks as requirements evolve.
• May provide mentorship and guidance to assist less experienced team members in enhancing their skills.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in structural engineering or a similar field.
• Established history of managing shop drawings and addressing RFIs in a construction environment.
• Familiarity with concrete, steel, masonry, and wood structural design according to IBC and related standards.
• Ability to assess existing conditions and produce accurate reports.
• Proficient in structural analysis and design software, such as RISA or STAAD.
• A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with an emphasis on structural engineering or equivalent relevant experience is required.
• PE license or active pursuit of the same is necessary.
