This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +1 more state.
• Execute structural analysis and design for concrete, steel, and masonry structures.
• Carry out investigations of existing conditions and compile related reports.
• Develop structural drawings and specifications that adhere to building codes.
• Collaborate across disciplines with various teams for effective project implementation.
• Offer support during the construction phase, including reviews of shop drawings and responses to RFIs.
• Demonstrate flexibility to take on and complete additional tasks as project needs evolve.
• Potentially provide mentorship, guidance, and support to assist less experienced team members in enhancing their skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in structural engineering or a related discipline.
• Established history of handling shop drawings and addressing RFIs within a construction environment.
• In-depth knowledge of structural design for concrete, steel, masonry, and wood in accordance with the IBC and related standards.
• Ability to assess existing conditions and produce accurate reports.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (such as RISA or STAAD).
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a specialization in structural engineering or a comparable level of experience is required.
• Possession of a PE license or actively pursuing one.
