Structural Drafter, Revit

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Generate engineering calculations, layouts, and construction drawings for a variety of building projects.

• Design gravity and lateral load systems, emphasizing wood framing and reinforced concrete structures.

• Execute structural calculations for gravity, lateral, foundation, and retaining systems.

• Create designs for wood-frame assemblies, including shear walls, joists, and beams.

• Develop reinforced concrete elements such as foundations, slabs, and columns.

• Produce structural plans, sections, and framing details utilizing AutoCAD and Revit.

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project leads to ensure designs are constructible.

• Guarantee adherence to IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, and NDS building codes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

• 2 to 5+ years of experience in structural design.

• Demonstrated expertise in wood and concrete structural design.

• Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software such as Enercalc, RISA, WoodWorks, or RAM.

• EIT certification preferred; SE/PE track is advantageous.

• Professional demeanor and adherence to ethical standards.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proactive mindset.

• Ability to multitask effectively.

• Analytical thinking for resolving complex challenges.

• Excellent organization and attention to detail.

• Capacity to identify risks, bottlenecks, scope creep, and opportunities for process improvement.

• Strong prioritization skills.

• Ability to follow orders or specific guidelines when necessary.

• Dependability and commitment to completing tasks.

• Comfort with using Hubstaff time tracking software.

• U.S. citizenship or eligibility for a U.S. work permit will be verified during the application process.

• Capability to provide a 1.5–2 minute voice note in English.

• Submission of work samples or portfolio in PDF format.
