This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Overview of the position
• Hopper is seeking a Strategy & Analytics Manager to oversee analytics and operational frameworks for travel procurement and AI projects. This position will collaborate closely with commercial teams, product, and engineering to develop data models, dashboards, operational tools, and processes that inform business decisions and enhance operations. You will utilize data and AI to extract insights, streamline workflows, and elevate commercial performance across Hopper’s travel procurement division.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, sales operations, strategy and operations, or a related analytical or commercial role
• Proficiency in SQL and practical experience with data and BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, BigQuery, or similar
• A proven history of tangible deliverables — data models, dashboards, process frameworks, and operational tools — rather than simply recommendations
• Strong business acumen paired with analytical precision; comfortable in both strategic discussions and hands-on implementation
• A genuine passion for AI and a consistent practice of leveraging it to enhance and expedite your own work, with a goal to incorporate this methodology across a commercial organization
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product and/or Engineering teams, possessing sufficient technical fluency to engage effectively in those interactions
• First-principles thinking — question assumptions, test processes, and always strive to comprehend why things operate as they do
• Proactive mindset, strong sense of ownership, and the capability to succeed in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
