Strategic Sourcing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee sourcing and procurement activities for internal business operations.

• Assist in supplier assessments and commercial negotiations alongside the RFx team.

• Implement sourcing initiatives that align with business needs, financial plans, and procurement policies.

• Discover opportunities to enhance value, lower costs, and boost operational efficiency.

• Support spend analysis and suggest purchasing efficiencies.

• Manage contract renewals in collaboration with Accounting and Legal departments.

• Develop and nurture vendor relationships.

• Negotiate pricing, contract renewals, service agreements, and commercial terms.

• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues as necessary.

• Keep procurement documentation and contract records organized.

• Establish vendors and issue purchase orders utilizing NetSuite.

• Facilitate vendor onboarding with Legal, Security, Privacy, Finance, and relevant business stakeholders.

• Track procurement metrics and generate routine spend reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or vendor management.

• Preferably experienced in supporting corporate functions within a technology, SaaS, software, or similar environment.

• Familiarity with purchasing software, technology services, professional services, and indirect spend categories.

• Experience with procurement or ERP systems, specifically NetSuite.

• Knowledge of contract structures, software licensing, procurement processes, and vendor lifecycle management.

• Proficient in Excel and basic spend analysis.

• Understanding of procurement and vendor management principles.

• Strong negotiation and problem-solving capabilities.

• Solid financial and business acumen.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, Operations, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
