This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop realistic educational scenarios and tasks rooted in professional experience, encompassing lesson and unit planning, assessment and item creation, grading and rubric-based evaluation, differentiation and intervention, curriculum and instructional design, IEPs and student accommodations, as well as student feedback and academic support.
• Assess and compare AI-generated educational content for accuracy, alignment with standards, suitability for grade levels, pedagogical quality, and practical application in the classroom.
• Evaluate outputs against Common Core, NGSS, state standards, or discipline-specific frameworks.
• Create structured examples that illustrate how seasoned educators tackle challenges and make instructional choices.
• Provide comprehensive, detailed written feedback that identifies errors, gaps, and areas for improvement.
• Engage in asynchronous collaboration with research and evaluation teams.
• Exercise consistent professional judgment when evaluating AI-generated educational materials.
• Transform practical educational experience, professional judgment, and daily workflows into structured examples and feedback aimed at enhancing AI systems.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in education or a closely related field.
• Background in K-12 teaching, higher education, curriculum development, instructional design, assessment and psychometrics, special education, tutoring and academic support, or educational technology.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, a relevant subject matter field, or a related discipline.
• A state teaching license or certification, National Board Certification, or an advanced degree such as an MEd, EdD, PhD, or a relevant master's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with Google Classroom, Canvas, PowerSchool, or similar SIS platforms, assessment platforms, and curriculum and learning management systems.
• Strong written communication abilities and exceptional attention to detail.
• Capability to clearly articulate professional decisions, instructional reasoning, and educational best practices.
• Comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment.
• Currently, H-1B and STEM OPT candidates are not supported.
