Lead Procurement – Delivery Stream Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide expert technical and leadership guidance for the procurement and delivery of Cranes and Fuel Handling Equipment.

• Oversee intricate procurement processes encompassing design, pre-PO planning, PO placement, post-PO supervision, delivery, and client turnover.

• Lead engagement with suppliers, qualification assessments, capacity evaluations, and the resolution of technical, commercial, and scheduling issues.

• Create integrated schedules and manage risks, opportunities, costs, performance metrics, and both financial and scheduling milestones.

• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Design, Quality, Projects, and external suppliers.

• Generate RFQ packages and coordinate technical, quality, document submission, and witness/hold-point criteria.

• Evaluate supplier design proposals, compliance matrices, submissions, and manufacturing/process strategies.

• Formulate supplier oversight labor plans and supervise supplier QA witness and hold points.

• Facilitate supplier kickoffs, scheduled meetings, project support execution, PO amendments, project schedule revisions, and customer status updates.

• Recruit, onboard, train, mentor, and manage junior Delivery Stream Engineers and interns.

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for WBS 6 commodities and supply chain delivery stream processes.

• Assist in the development and implementation of organizational strategies.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering.

• At least 10 years of relevant experience, ideally in the Power Generation or Nuclear Industries.

• Experience in manufacturing and supply chain management.

• Proficient in SAP.

• Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Copilot, and Teams.

• Willingness to travel for supplier development, oversight, and urgent project issues.

• Capability to comply with United States and relevant country export control regulations.
