This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.
β’ Accountable for managing all supplier commercial relationships within designated business sectors, ensuring targeted levels of cost, quality, delivery, sustainability, and supply continuity.
β’ Create and execute Supplier strategies that satisfy both internal and external customer requirements.
β’ Assist in new product development initiatives across the business unit by establishing supplier strategies, overseeing costs to achieve product margin objectives, and facilitating product launch to mass production.
β’ Oversee the entire lifecycle of supplier contracts, which includes corporate agreements, annual pricing negotiations and awards, payment terms, and inventory management.
β’ Collaborate with Sales and Engineering to develop and align Supplier technical roadmaps.
β’ Responsible for assessing supplier performance and ratings based on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) related to Quality, Delivery, and Cost while working with sites.
β’ Lead Supplier and expenditure consolidation efforts across multiple sites within the North America region, aligning with corporate goals and directives.
β’ Identify, evaluate, and cultivate new Suppliers in accordance with corporate strategies and in collaboration with Sales and Engineering as necessary.
β’ In partnership with sites, evaluate and execute Purchase Price Variance (PPV) activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and minimizing PPV impacts on the business.
β’ Provide support to sites as needed to maintain critical customer service levels through supplier escalation, alternate sourcing, and secondary sourcing strategies.
β’ Willingness to travel internationally to support development and launch activities.
β’ Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in business or procurement.
β’ Proven experience negotiating with suppliers in a low-volume manufacturing setting.
β’ Knowledge of electronic components (such as printed circuit board assembly, wire/cable assemblies, controls, semiconductors) and thermal components (including pumps, fans, compressors).
β’ Familiarity with metal fabrication technologies is an advantage.
β’ Demonstrated leadership and change management capabilities.
β’ Prior experience in a high mix/low volume manufacturing context.
β’ Experience in international supply chain management, including incoterms and landed costs.
β’ Proficiency in a second language is preferred.
