Strategic Sourcing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Assist in the formulation and implementation of comprehensive sourcing strategies for designated indirect categories, pinpointing opportunities for cost reduction and supplier consolidation.

• Organize, prepare, and carry out competitive sourcing activities (RFx, auctions) from start to finish utilizing the Coupa Sourcing module.

• Help lead commercial negotiations with suppliers, emphasizing the attainment of year-over-year cost savings, advantageous payment terms, and risk management.

• Perform both quantitative and qualitative analyses of supplier proposals, offering data-driven recommendations to internal stakeholders for the final selection of suppliers.

• Leverage the Coupa Contract Management module to draft, monitor, and oversee all sourcing-related contracts, ensuring adherence to legal and security requirements.

• Ensure compliance with spending aligns with contracted terms (pricing, volume, quality) and that contracts are appropriately linked to Purchase Orders (POs) within the system.

• Collaborate with the Supplier Lifecycle team to facilitate a smooth transition for newly awarded suppliers into the automated onboarding and risk assessment process.

• Consistently analyze spending data in Coupa to discover new sourcing opportunities and evaluate category performance against set benchmarks.

• Methodically track, report, and verify savings realized from sourcing initiatives using Coupa's reporting tools, aligning with financial objectives.

• Act as the primary procurement liaison for internal business units, providing education on the Coupa Sourcing process and ensuring requirements are clearly articulated prior to market engagement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of progressive experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, and Category Management, particularly in Indirect Spend.

• Practical experience utilizing Coupa modules.

• Strong financial insight and advanced analytical capabilities.

• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills necessary to influence senior stakeholders and external suppliers.
