Senior Category Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Accountable for sourcing initiatives within the global Human Pharma's clinical services sectors.

• Proactively manage supplier relationships and cultivate partnerships with external strategic allies.

• Observe supply markets and identify potential suppliers.

• Independently handle a significant volume of sourcing inquiries.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance speed, cost-effectiveness, value creation, and the adoption of new technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in procuring services or products in a pharmaceutical or similarly regulated setting.

• Familiarity with market intelligence and sourcing strategies relevant to Clinical Development services.

• Background in sourcing or supporting services connected to early-stage clinical development, including initial clinical trials.

• Solid understanding of established sourcing methodologies such as demand management, market and supplier analysis, compliance management, due diligence, risk management, supplier management, contract management, and negotiation techniques.

• Significant experience in international projects and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• A master's degree in business administration or an equivalent professional credential.

• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
