Specialist, Strategic Sourcing

📋 Description

• Provide assistance to Integrated Facilities clients and internal stakeholders concerning the optimization of JLL-managed services operations and sourcing strategies.

• Accountable for delivering market, supplier, and operational intelligence regarding service operations; identifying and leading suitable field resources to execute strategic initiatives.

• Act as a subject matter expert in support of JLL's sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, and program management.

• Aid in the development and implementation of standardized and efficient sourcing processes for the account to streamline the current program.

• Formulate a sourcing plan and strategy for the account focusing on cost savings, supplier consolidation, sustainability, and supplier diversity.

• Actively engage with clients and the Jones Lang LaSalle Sourcing, Facility, and Property Management teams to drive immediate and long-term benefits for the client.

• Exhibit exceptional attention to detail, maintaining accuracy across multiple concurrent projects and documentation requirements.

• Lead and oversee all sourcing-related functions: conducting due diligence and assessments of prospective suppliers, executing RFPs/bids, and ensuring a smooth transition to operations during implementation.

• Regularly provide comprehensive status updates and communication to Supply Chain and business stakeholders.

• Offer management, instruction, and follow-up in support of operations teams’ RFP/bid, contracting, supplier onboarding, and operational processes.

• Assist in leading Quarterly Business Reviews with key suppliers.

• Support the Category Management team’s supplier relationship and performance programs with key suppliers.

• Ensure adherence to JLL’s and the client’s sourcing and contracting policies, procedures, risk management programs, and ethics.

• Help maintain data integrity across all systems and ensure that required documentation is received and necessary process steps are completed.

• Build relationships with Corporate Legal and Risk Management to guarantee that all contractual terms and conditions comply with standard or other contract changes and are formally reviewed and approved by legal/risk management.

• Support and assist in the development of diversity programs in alignment with client and company requirements.

• Mentor and educate suppliers through meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of strategic sourcing experience in services or indirect categories (e.g., facility services is highly desired).

• Demonstrates strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and analytical precision with a keen attention to detail.

• Proactively identify process improvements and sourcing opportunities, taking the initiative to drive implementation with minimal supervision.

• Proven history of delivering excellent internal and external customer service.

• Proven capability to independently manage multiple projects and priorities with meticulous attention to detail while achieving results in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and communicate professionally.

• Manage complex stakeholder relationships across client teams, internal operations, and supplier partners, ensuring alignment and satisfaction.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
