Strategic Sourcing Lead, Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Lead indirect sourcing initiatives for Technology while simultaneously developing effective sourcing strategies, driving strategic enhancements, and achieving operational targets, savings objectives, and business strategies.

• Perform total cost modeling and sensitivity/scenario analysis to assist team members in understanding the trade-offs and advantages of various outcomes.

• Support the analysis and planning of different components within indirect spend categories to ensure operational success and results.

• Utilize sourcing tools to aid departmental efforts in refining and enhancing procurement processes and policies.

• Build and manage relationships with business stakeholders and provide regular updates on project status.

• Collaborate with various corporate functions (e.g., Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Legal, etc.) as part of your sourcing projects and associated activities.

• Review, modify, and negotiate contract terms.

• Assist in the development and management of strategic and intricate contract renewals.

• Participate in supplier relationship activities (e.g., regular business reviews, vendor scorecard evaluations, etc.)

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing for Technology, encompassing Infrastructure, Networking & Telecom, Engineering, Enterprise Applications, Product, Cloud, etc.

• Proven ability to lead sourcing projects, negotiate contracts, and author agreements while driving savings and value.

• Exceptional relationship-building, verbal and written communication, interpersonal, motivational, and influencing skills; adept at coordinating across related disciplines and with key stakeholders.

• Experience in coordinating teams, gathering insights, and constructively challenging internal stakeholders with conventional thinking.

• Familiarity with multi-step strategic sourcing processes, sourcing tools, and strategies.
