Manager – Strategic Sourcing and Procurement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the acquisition and negotiation of goods, materials, or services in accordance with specifications, budgets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.

• Ensure timely delivery of necessary goods and materials.

• Investigate and assess potential opportunities to minimize costs whenever feasible.

• Formulate ideas and strategies aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.

• Negotiate contracts and enhance business terms with suppliers.

• Evaluate vendors and perform performance assessments.

• Ensure adherence to company policies and purchasing guidelines.

• Explore alternative sources for goods, materials, and services.

• Draft purchase orders based on finalized negotiations.

• Oversee the entire Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) process.

• Communicate with vendors to address issues related to pricing, quality, delivery, or invoicing.

• Serve as the main procurement business partner for leadership in Colombia and Mexico.

• Lead special projects to enhance procurement addressable spending and contract coverage.

• Coordinate and manage all purchasing activities related to Facilities, HR, Marketing, and Finance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Commerce, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated purchasing experience of 10–12 years in IT/ITES and BPM sectors.

• At least 7–8 years of experience overseeing procurement and sourcing activities pertaining to Facilities and Administration functions.

• Minimum 4–5 years of operational experience with procurement sourcing tools such as ARIBA, COUPA, or Ivalua.

• Proficient in computer applications, including advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
