Senior Director, Sourcing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Leading and managing a team of sourcing professionals.

• Providing support to a designated co-location Data Center Client.

• Collaborating directly with Sourcing & Procurement teams, Account Directors, Clients, and Divisional leaders.

• Establishing governance for the flow of contracts and sourcing projects from initial concept to completion.

• Creating a matrix that identifies primary and secondary suppliers categorized by type.

• Aligning on a contract brief template that emphasizes specific deal points.

• Proactively advancing contract or scope of work renewals, or significant expansions, to the market.

• Developing a plan to implement a supplier performance management and accountability program.

• Integrating suitable connections to Platform-level supplier performance management initiatives.

• Designing the necessary training and governance to successfully deploy capabilities.

• Evaluating and instituting changes to enhance value delivery and compliance.

• Clearly articulating the value proposition of the sourcing function.

• Fostering strong relationships with both internal and external clients.

• Ensuring that the account meets the KPIs and goals established by Sourcing & Procurement and the Client.

• Supervising compliance and controls within the assigned portfolio.

• Creating innovative and effective sourcing strategies.

• Partnering with internal operations teams, such as JLL Facility Management and Project Management teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of strategic sourcing experience in services or indirect categories related to facilities services is highly preferred.

• Experience in people management.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management is preferred.

• MBA is advantageous.

• Certifications such as CPM, CPSM, or CPSD are preferred.

• Demonstrated success in leading teams and the ability to influence organization-wide and achieve results in dynamic environments.

• Strategic mindset with the capability to develop strategic roadmaps and convert them into actionable plans and supply solutions.

• Exceptional customer service, relationship-building, and follow-up skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Experience with e-procurement, preferably Jaggaer.

• Driven to grow and excel in a high-performance organization.

• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
