Strategic Sourcing Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the sourcing process for designated internal client groups (for instance, the Operations Organization, which includes direct materials, contract manufacturing, and engineering).

• Implement sourcing tools such as supplier search, analysis, supplier management, contract management, and RFX development and execution utilizing Scanmarket software.

• Collaborate and build relationships with internal clients to outline and prioritize business needs.

• Investigate industries and suppliers to identify and evaluate the most suitable suppliers.

• Manage the RFX process by drafting RFX documents in Scanmarket, consulting with stakeholders, and distributing documents to suppliers.

• Negotiate supplier contracts to achieve optimal pricing, services, quality, and value.

• Illustrate the value of the Sourcing Department to the organization by defining, measuring, and reporting key metrics.

• Handle multiple projects simultaneously, meeting expected timelines and achieving cost savings.

• Conduct advanced supplier searches using AI technology.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.

• Over 7 years of corporate purchasing experience with progressively increasing responsibilities.

• CPM, CPSM, or a comparable professional certification is preferred.

• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous, though not mandatory.
