This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Achieve consistent year-over-year sustainable market share growth within the designated Heavy and Handling business portfolio.
• Develop and manage an effective pipeline for new market share opportunities.
• Drive new business ventures by engaging with customers to understand their requirements and efficiently managing both internal and external action items.
• Establish and maintain robust relationships with external partners: fostering connections both laterally and vertically within a customer's organization is key to optimizing business growth.
• Cultivate strong internal partner relationships: Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, pricing, quality, customer service, accounting, and demand chain to provide a world-class customer experience.
• Uphold effective and strong business management practices.
• Develop and maintain your personal territory strategy, pipeline, and sales forecast.
• Identify and leverage market trends to inform your internal team and external customers.
• Act as the project manager for your customers and new opportunities.
• Swiftly and professionally manage uncovered opportunities and related action items, both internally and externally, to maximize effectiveness.
• Engaging multiple stakeholders across departments will significantly increase the likelihood of success in your opportunities.
• Meeting various needs of your customer will foster a sustainable partnership, rather than a mere transactional relationship.
• Collaborate with an internal team composed of engineering, customer solutions, pricing, and demand chain professionals who are equally invested in the growth of your customers in Heavy/Handling.
• Effectively motivate, organize, and utilize your team's talents, skills, and directives to ensure your success and advancement.
• Your performance will be evaluated based on the quality and momentum of your sales pipeline (the process) as well as the growth in sales and market share (the results).
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Application/Sales Engineering, Business Development, Sales, or Sales Management within an industrial products company.
• Comprehensive understanding of the associated industry, including customer products, business strategies, financials, and competitive threats.
• Demonstrated history of success and career advancement within an industrial products company.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• High level of business acumen and accountability.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing tasks while focusing on market share growth.
• Must be a motivated self-starter and team player, eager to contribute to a high-performing, diverse team.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic culture.
• Proven problem-solving and performance analysis abilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.
