This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and expand a portfolio of strategic accounts in charter, fractional, corporate, regional airline, emergency services, and government aviation sectors.
• Formulate and implement account strategies that promote the adoption of the comprehensive Portside platform through cross-selling, upselling, and expansion initiatives.
• Establish Portside as a vital technology partner by aligning our solutions with customers' operational, financial, and commercial goals.
• Develop and sustain relationships with executive-level stakeholders, including C-suite executives, operations teams, finance departments, maintenance leaders, flight operations, and IT teams.
• Manage intricate sales cycles from the identification of opportunities to negotiation, contracting, and successful transition to implementation and customer success teams.
• Work collaboratively with Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Leadership teams to enhance customer value and promote long-term account growth.
• Recognize opportunities arising from mergers, acquisitions, fleet expansion, operational changes, and evolving regulatory demands.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of aviation market trends, customer challenges, competitive landscapes, and emerging technology solutions.
• Provide precise forecasting, pipeline management, account planning, and territory management while consistently meeting revenue targets.
• Serve as the voice of the customer by delivering market intelligence, competitive insights, and product feedback to inform Portside's product and go-to-market strategies.
• Utilize CRM, sales intelligence, and AI-assisted tools to enhance account planning, prospecting, forecasting, and customer engagement.
• Represent Portside at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to strengthen relationships and broaden market presence.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise SaaS sales or strategic account management roles.
• Previous experience selling to the aviation, transportation, logistics, financial services, or other complex operational sectors is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in expanding existing accounts through growth, cross-selling, upselling, and strategic relationship management.
• Experience managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and executive-level decision-makers.
• Excellent consultative selling skills with the capacity to align technology solutions with business outcomes.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic account plans and territory growth strategies.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities.
• Proficiency in utilizing data, analytics, CRM platforms, and AI-assisted tools to enhance sales effectiveness and forecasting accuracy.
• Knowledge of business aviation operations, fleet management, flight operations, maintenance, or aviation technology is a significant advantage.
