This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +2 more states.
• Formulate and implement territory and account-based sales strategies to reach new business revenue objectives in K-12 and transit fleet organizations.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new enterprise opportunities within the passenger services (PAX) sector.
• Establish and nurture a robust sales pipeline through proactive outreach, industry networking, and government procurement avenues.
• Facilitate discovery discussions with senior decision-makers, including transportation directors, operations leaders, superintendents, and municipal representatives.
• Manage the complete sales process from prospecting to negotiation, contracting, and closing.
• Collaborate with product management, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure solutions meet customer fleet and operational requirements.
• Utilize industry insights and competitive intelligence to uncover opportunities in fleet telematics, routing, and compliance solutions.
• Work alongside customer success and account management teams to guarantee seamless transitions and foster long-term account development.
• Deliver precise forecasting, pipeline updates, and market intelligence to senior management.
• Travel within the designated territory as required to engage with potential clients and participate in industry events.
• Over 10 years of quota-carrying SaaS or technology sales experience in a B2B context.
• Demonstrated success in selling to K-12 school districts, public sector, or government transportation organizations is strongly preferred.
• Experience with fleet telematics, routing software, or transportation technology is highly advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Proven history of closing complex enterprise deals in long-cycle, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Strong executive presence complemented by excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in navigating government procurement processes and public-sector acquisition cycles.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned Northeast territory as required.
