This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies for both the business unit and the enterprise by addressing systemic opportunities and challenges that affect access, adoption, and sustained growth throughout the portfolio.

• Lead and execute initiatives beyond the brand that focus on care delivery models, education for patients and providers, pathways for access, engagement with health systems, and potential growth opportunities.

• Identify, assess, and promote strategic partnership opportunities with health systems, specialty pharmacies, advocacy organizations, professional societies, and other stakeholders within the ecosystem.

• Conduct comprehensive market research and engage with stakeholders to gain insights into customer needs, care delivery dynamics, access challenges, and the competitive environment.

• Interact with executive-level stakeholders throughout the patient journey, including C-suite executives, senior leadership, Key Opinion Leaders, physicians, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and care teams.

• Work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to design and execute initiatives aimed at enhancing patient access, education, and adoption.

• Develop annual strategic plans that align with enterprise priorities and provide periodic updates to leadership, emphasizing progress towards strategic goals rather than solely focusing on sales metrics.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or a related field.

• Advanced degree is strongly preferred, such as MD, DO, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent doctoral-level clinical or scientific training, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in pediatric endocrinology, pediatric specialty medicine, hormone-related conditions, or rare disease populations.

• A minimum of five years of successful business and leadership experience, ideally within the urology, oncology, specialty pharmaceuticals, or hospital industries.

• Required experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

• At least one year of proven success as a leader without formal authority or previous experience in management/leadership roles.

• Proven experience operating as a trusted clinical or scientific partner to external stakeholders, which may include practicing physicians or subspecialists, academic faculty or research leaders, clinical or administrative leadership in health systems, professional societies, foundations, or patient advocacy organizations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
