This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, execute, and take ownership of strategic plans aimed at exploring potential ERP partnerships while identifying new market prospects.
• Conduct outreach for new business development to prospective partners, creating fresh opportunities and effectively tracking and prioritizing based on size and impact.
• Oversee and manage extensive, complex negotiations lasting over 12 months for diverse ERP partnerships, which include negotiating financial term sheets and legal agreements, guiding through the signature and closing process.
• Regularly engage with senior C-level executives, both internally and externally, to understand key business growth drivers, ensuring alignment between the customer and the company for mutual success.
• Cultivate and maintain high-impact relationships within accounting and ERP systems to facilitate productive alignment and significant growth opportunities for AvidXchange.
• Collaborate strategically with AvidXchange Marketing, Demand Generation, and the sales team to formulate growth plans and guide the engagement of Alliance & Sales teams with partners on accounting and ERP system opportunities.
• Proven experience in developing new strategic partnerships.
• Strong skills in enterprise sales, alliance management, marketing, business acumen, and analytical thinking.
• Exceptional ability to build relationships with partners and C-suite decision makers.
• Solid financial acumen and experience in developing complex financial models covering topics such as net interchange share, transaction/software fees, and customer acquisition models.
• Capable of effectively managing time to maximize productivity.
• Proficient in leading and coordinating cross-functional business reviews involving partners, sales, product, marketing, and delivery onboarding.
• Excellent communication skills to present effectively to diverse audiences, with the ability to convey business and technical concepts clearly and convincingly through presentations.
• Expert at interpreting critical business challenges and translating them into optimal business process recommendations across multiple levels and organizational opportunities.
• Highly skilled in assessing partner and channel market opportunities and developing strategies to enhance our leadership presence.
• Proficient in employing a solution-selling approach to guide new partners through their decision-making process, ultimately leading to the purchase of AvidXchange solutions that meet their needs.
• University Degree or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 7+ years of relevant sales experience; a master's degree in business is preferred.
• Technically adept in using and demonstrating AvidXchange solutions.
• At least 3 years of experience in partner/business development, enterprise sales, accounting partnerships, and/or program/product management.
• Highly effective in creating compelling reasons for purchase through defined marketing messaging and the presentation of AvidXchange value propositions.
• Strong hunting mindset characterized by urgency, ownership, and a bias for action.
• Ability to comprehend strategic priorities, business needs, pain points, and opportunities to leverage AvidXchange solutions for potential partners.
