This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Stakeholder management: Build and sustain strong relationships with key decision-makers in Purchasing, R&D, Sustainability, Operations, and Management.
• New business development: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while consistently developing exclusive sales projects for (sustainable) RME recyclates.
• Account strategy: Strategize and execute account penetration plans while independently managing sales targets.
• Revenue responsibility: Achieve or surpass monthly sales and development objectives.
• Market and competitive analysis: Keep track of trends in sustainable plastics and identify potential business opportunities.
• Innovation input: Convert customer requirements into specific needs for our product development teams.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management within the Ravago Group.
• PCR sourcing strategy: Formulate a sourcing strategy for Post-Consumer Recyclates (PCR) and work in coordination with the Procurement team.
• Supplier development: Develop new PCR suppliers and assist in qualification processes alongside R&D.
• Native German speaker with proficient English language skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a structured and proactive manner.
• High resilience and composure when navigating complex stakeholder environments.
• Strong curiosity, creativity, and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to maintain resilience and persistence on long-term strategic initiatives.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation abilities.
• Degree in Engineering, Business, or a Natural Science (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the plastics industry or in consumer goods, electronics, household goods, or retail sectors.
• Strong understanding of sales strategy, pricing, stakeholder management, and relationship building.
• Familiarity with RME compounds and experience in the European PCR market are advantageous.
• Willingness to travel within Europe (up to 40%).
