Strategic Investment Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the effectiveness of investment initiatives by analyzing financial models.

• Develop international investment steering tools to assess the long-term impact on profitability.

• Utilize benchmarking, scenario analysis, and sensitivity testing to evaluate the quality of crucial inputs in investment tools.

• Contribute to the development of comprehensive concepts for controlling, planning, and approving strategic investment initiatives across the group.

• Create structured decision-making frameworks aimed at senior management.

• Deliver frameworks through verbal presentations, detailed reports, or PowerPoint slides.

• Prepare and enhance investment reports and strategies.

• Independently assess and compile data for international ad-hoc requests.

• Collaborate closely with other Group Controlling teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed university degree in finance, controlling, accounting, or a related discipline is required.

• Several years of experience and interest in financial modeling and business case development is essential; experience in auditing or similar fields is also acceptable.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are critical.

• A robust analytical mindset and keen attention to detail are necessary.

• A structured and diligent approach to work is expected.

• A solution-oriented, collaborative attitude combined with an organized and independent work style is essential.

• Willingness to work in an international team and environment where communication and alignment are pivotal.

• Proficiency in MS Office tools is required; knowledge of VBA macros and SAP is a plus.

• Business fluency in English is necessary; knowledge of German is an advantage.
