Strategic Finance Manager

📋 Description

• Design and develop a comprehensive Customer Support Capacity Planning model: Collaborate closely with Support and Product leadership to convert operational and financial factors into strategic plans for headcount and resources.

• Act as the FP&A Lead for Customer Support & IT: Serve as the strategic financial consultant for both organizations. You will oversee forecasting, budget vs. actual analysis, and monthly close assistance, providing impactful ad hoc analyses that support leaders in managing their budgets.

• Drive Customer Experience Performance Metrics: Take ownership of the analytical insights regarding SaaS retention and key customer support metrics (such as utilization, SLA achievement, and cost-to-serve) to present a clear, data-driven overview of customer wellbeing and operational effectiveness.

• Make Financial Data Accessible: Create and maintain interactive, foundational dashboards that give cross-functional partners real-time insights into operational performance, costs, and future forecasts.

• Lead Essential Company-Wide Projects: Manage and advance highly collaborative, cross-functional initiatives like our Monthly Business Review (MBR) and detailed churn/retention reporting, integrating thorough financial analysis with strong project management.

• Enhance Cost of Revenue & IT Expenditure: Collaborate across the customer-experience cost spectrum to forecast and scrutinize spending, fostering visibility and efficiency in our major software vendors and IT investments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in FP&A or strategic finance, preferably within a fast-growing SaaS or FinTech organization.

• Robust financial modeling skills and a solid understanding of FP&A principles, including forecasting, variance analysis, and constructing reliable models.

• Strong inclination towards action, curiosity, and collaboration. You act swiftly, independently resolve issues, and cultivate trust with business stakeholders.

• Proficiency in advanced SQL. Comfortable working directly with data—crafting complex queries, integrating multiple data sources, and validating your figures without relying on others.

• Excellent communication skills—capable of transforming analysis into a succinct, decision-ready narrative for senior leadership.
