• Increase annual sales revenue in the designated geographic area/territory and meet the assigned forecast.
• Discover new Special Markets accounts and/or explore new opportunities within current Special Markets accounts to enhance category and formulary growth as well as revenue.
• Responsible for facilitating and often negotiating new agreements; manage existing contracts, including renewals.
• Collaborate with the field sales team for contract implementation and effectively communicate contract goals and opportunities to all stakeholders.
• Actively build relationships to collaborate with key executives, economic, and clinical decision-makers within assigned Special Markets accounts.
• Enhance territory management efficiency by adhering to established sales processes, Funnel Management, and Voice of Customer (VOC) initiatives.
• Successfully develop and lead comprehensive customer business reviews to fulfill customer needs.
• Participate in and generate sales leads at various trade shows and sales events.
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent sales experience in lieu of a degree.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience in sales and account management; DSO sales experience necessary (including contract negotiation, quarterly business reviews, and presentations to C-Suite executives).
• Possess a valid state driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Prior experience in strategic account management is highly preferred.
• Outstanding oral and written communication abilities.
• Preference for candidates residing within the defined region/territory as specified by the hiring manager.
