• Implementing communication strategies through a variety of materials and actions, including digital products, press briefings, social media content, and communication support during events.
• Collaborating with colleagues and partners to contribute to digital campaigns.
• Establishing and maintaining trusted relationships with key journalists and influencers in Poland to achieve impactful outcomes.
• Assisting in the creation and delivery of high-quality communication materials, such as press releases, quotes, social media content, and digital products.
• Generating content for selected partners, voices, and digital channels in coordination to achieve organic reach.
• Cultivating and sustaining relationships with key partners across Poland, including NGOs, academics, and businesses, while offering strategic guidance to support campaign objectives.
• Collaborating with our spokesperson network, particularly in enhancing their digital profiles.
• Pitching stories to digital media outlets that promote climate action, utilizing timely and targeted messaging designed to resonate with online audiences, with assistance from the Poland Desk Lead.
• Monitoring political and media discussions in Poland to identify engagement opportunities and serve as a source of intelligence for colleagues and partners.
• Performing any additional duties as assigned periodically.
• Significant experience in a digital media campaigning position, with a thorough understanding of the challenges and opportunities present in climate campaigns.
• Proficiency in evaluating the impact of digital campaigns through metric analysis.
• Skill in crafting and pitching compelling, media-worthy stories that resonate with Polish audiences and stand out amidst the noise.
• Strong networking skills to establish and maintain relationships with key partners in the climate sector.
• Project management capabilities to transform concepts into campaigns and communication deliverables, effectively collaborating with various colleagues and experts.
• Ability to monitor political discussions related to climate and energy issues through media tracking and intelligence gathering.
• Solid grasp of campaign communications, with the capacity to create compelling media narratives and advise partners on communication strategies.
• A proactive attitude, capable of working independently to build relationships and launch projects, along with excellent time management skills to respond promptly to trends and global events.
• Residency in Poland and fluency in Polish is required.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English, which is our working language.
• A genuine interest in and commitment to addressing climate change.
