This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Accountable for strategizing, developing, and executing marketing and communication initiatives for LLSC programs and services.
• Enhance engagement and broaden the reach of our programs and services through a blend of traditional and digital communication channels.
• Spearhead efforts to increase awareness, accessibility, participation, and impact stewardship among donors, sponsors, partners, and the blood cancer community.
• Create and design an impact communications toolkit to incorporate impact data and mission storytelling across all national campaigns and brand communications.
• Oversee and manage the internal impact communications strategy, including weekly Mission Mondays for all staff communications.
• Develop and execute marketing and communication strategies to launch and promote registration for annual blood cancer conferences (both in-person and/or virtual).
• Establish positioning and branding for the First Connection peer support program, Blood Cancer Awareness Month, and Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
• Plan and coordinate the visibility and promotional activities for approximately two webcasts each month.
• Write content, choose images, and manage translations for a biweekly newsletter directed at the blood cancer community.
• Ensure that impact content and resources shared across brand channels are relevant, current, and up-to-date.
• A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• 6–10 years of progressive experience in marketing and communications, preferably within the healthcare or nonprofit sectors.
• A strategic thinker with a demonstrated history of developing and implementing multi-channel communication strategies.
• An effective communicator with outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.
• A digitally adept professional with extensive knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
• A relationship builder capable of engaging and nurturing connections with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• A collaborative team player who excels in cross-functional settings.
• A detail-oriented project manager with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• A confident presenter skilled in creating reports and presentations that illustrate impact and ROI.
• Proficient in communication tools and platforms, including CMS, social media management tools, email marketing platforms, Canva, and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience in the nonprofit sector is an advantage.
• Bilingualism in French and English is a plus.
