Senior Digital and Communications Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Create and implement a comprehensive digital and communications strategy.

• Drive performance-focused communications through various digital, media, content, campaign, and partner activation channels.

• Formulate and carry out communication strategies to enhance visibility and bolster brand equity.

• Engage with audiences across sports, government, and international development sectors.

• Position impact communications as a crucial asset for securing funding, partnerships, and operational licenses.

• Assist priority revenue-generating pathways with measurable strategies from awareness to action.

• Oversee ChildFund Rugby’s digital landscape, which includes the website and social media platforms.

• Manage both proactive and reactive media engagements.

• Supervise the creation of multi-format content.

• Collaborate with a diverse, multi-country team, managing communications budgets and contracts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in senior digital communications, digital campaigning, digital fundraising, performance marketing, or related disciplines.

• Background in sports, major events, commercial partnerships, or related sectors is advantageous.

• Proven experience in designing digital supporter journeys, lead generation funnels, or fundraising campaigns.

• Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders, agencies, creative suppliers, and partner organizations.

• Knowledge in international development or social impact is beneficial; understanding ethical storytelling and social change is crucial.

• Strong skills in authentic, creative, and compelling storytelling.

• Strategic mindset, proactive planning, and robust analytical abilities.

• Capability to operate across commercial, sports, and international development sectors.

• Excellent relationship-building skills across different cultures and sectors.

• High resilience, adaptability, and the ability to handle competing deadlines effectively.

• Proficiency in English, with French being a plus.
