This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Instruct remotely for the Criminal Justice & Public Safety Administration program.
• Work in collaboration with program staff and the Instructional Design team as a subject matter expert.
• Actively engage students through regular interaction and encouragement towards their success.
• Assist students in collaborative efforts and the practical application of their knowledge.
• Offer consistent constructive feedback for the evaluation of student assignments.
• Exhibit up-to-date subject-matter expertise and relate concepts across different academic programs.
• Provide insights on potential curricular enhancements.
• A Master's degree in Criminal Justice, Public Safety, or a related field from an accredited higher education institution.
• Professional experience in Law Enforcement.
• Teaching experience with adult learners online and in higher education is highly preferred.
• A terminal degree in Criminal Justice, Public Safety, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience as a police administrator is preferred.
• Experience in developing Higher Education curricula is preferred.

• Candidates selected with international degrees may need to provide a translation/degree evaluation from a NACES approved vendor.
