Strategic Civil Litigation Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Creating and assessing strategic legal documents, including motions, defenses, appeals, submissions, and legal memoranda in highly intricate, high-stakes disputes.

• Performing risk assessments and establishing comprehensive litigation strategies for managing critical cases across various court levels.

• Actively engaging in meetings and maintaining direct communication with clients to present scenarios, risks, and legal advice in an objective manner.

• Diligently overseeing procedural deadlines and internal administrative timelines, ensuring adherence to SLAs and the organized management of multiple cases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree and active membership in the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).

• Strong, proven experience in strategic civil litigation involving complex and significant issues.

• Preferred: Previous experience at a mid-sized or large law firm.

• Analytical, organized, and proactive profile, capable of managing multiple cases and working effectively under pressure.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact easily with clients and stakeholders.

• Superior legal writing abilities and meticulous attention to the detailed review of documents and information.
