Strategic Business Development Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Build and maintain relationships within existing networks to foster new business opportunities.

• Engage proactively in annual planning sessions and quarterly updates with current partners.

• Achieve and surpass targets related to significant growth prospects with designated existing partners, including cross-selling new products and services.

• Actively participate in assigned industry events, conferences, trade shows, and speaking opportunities to establish a strong presence as an “industry expert” in both domestic and international financial services.

• Consistently meet and exceed objectives related to “new to franchise” business as designated.

• Take a leading role in researching and exploring new industries where Western Union can deliver unique value.

• Develop impactful, professional, and thought-provoking presentations for clients and internal stakeholders as needed.

• Document all growth opportunities and risks within the CRM system.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-7 years of successful business development experience in retail, digital, and/or financial services.

• Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding growth objectives.

• Preference for a bachelor's degree in business or finance.

• Exceptional communication and management abilities with the capacity to influence individuals and teams.

• Proficient in Microsoft applications, including the ability to create professional client-facing and internal presentations.

• Capability to establish oneself as an industry authority.

• Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills to persuade and influence others.

• Strategic and innovative thinker able to develop concepts that yield results.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to effectively implement plans.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
