This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.
• In this position, you will be responsible for purchasing and selling scrap and recycled PET (rPET).
• Your focus will be on developing new suppliers of rPET as well as establishing new domestic customer relationships.
• You will spend time on the road fostering these new partnerships and cultivating relationships.
• You will have the freedom to manage your region and determine how you source rPET locally.
• Collaborating closely with both local and global teams, you will engage with colleagues worldwide daily; a highly cooperative and entrepreneurial mindset is essential for excelling in this role.
• Leveraging your sales expertise, you will conduct cold calls and acquire new clients through thorough market research.
• Adhering to internal processes and policies (CRM, Administration, Trial Procedures, Customer Onboarding) will be crucial.
• You will grow into your role and contribute to Vanden’s overarching mission.
• Expanding your technical knowledge will also be part of your development.
• Proven experience in the sales or procurement of prime or recycled PET.
• Extensive sales experience in commodities, particularly in an on-the-road capacity, with a history of surpassing financial targets and developing a substantial volume of new business accounts from the ground up.
• Demonstrated success in managing existing accounts while actively pursuing new opportunities simultaneously.
• A proactive entrepreneurial spirit paired with a high degree of integrity.
• Strong negotiation skills to maximize margins and successfully close deals with customers.
