This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Develop and implement partner strategies for the designated territory.
• Increase revenue through partnerships across the DACH region, including the strategic collaboration with SAP.
• Perform territory and competitive analysis to inform go-to-market strategies.
• Create and execute joint business plans that encompass enablement, demand generation, deal execution, delivery skill enhancement, and customer references.
• Work alongside OpenText and partner stakeholders to uncover market opportunities and provide value to shared customers.
• Engage in local events, sales meetings, account planning sessions, partner evaluations, and marketing initiatives.
• Provide education to SAP and partner field representatives regarding OpenText.
• Get involved in early-stage opportunities to qualify and communicate the OpenText value proposition and sales cycle.
• Define market opportunities, strategies, and business plans in collaboration with sales leadership.
• Oversee and report on progress against established plans.
• Coordinate enablement and demand generation initiatives.
• Manage localization requirements in collaboration with partners and Product Management.
• Establish strategic partnerships and relationships to bolster Mid-Market sales and enhance market share.
• Achieve designated sales and pipeline objectives.
• Execute the OpenText Global Partner Program model.
• Share business plans and updates through team meetings, conference calls, and business reviews.
• Align partner forecasts with OpenText forecasts.
• A minimum of 5+ years in field sales, partner management, or partner sales experience.
• Proven history of meeting or surpassing quotas in direct sales or partner management roles.
• Experience collaborating with SAP license sales teams and large software or SaaS vendors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong grasp of sales and marketing principles.
• Robust program and project management skills.
• Capability to effectively operate at all organizational levels, including CEO/Managing Director level, with a high level of diplomacy.
• Experience in developing enablement programs for sales teams and partner channels.
• Skill in articulating, communicating, and educating partners and customers about the business value propositions of complex software and solution offerings.
• Business fluency in both German and English, in written and spoken forms.
