Senior SAP MM Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as an SAP MM Consultant for a project focused on adapting processes in response to Brazil’s Tax Reform.

• Assess and evaluate the effects of the Tax Reform on MM processes.

• Investigate impacts concerning tax determination and calculations within inbound processes.

• Collaborate with tax specialists to translate Tax Reform regulations into SAP functional specifications.

• Assist in defining solutions, configurations, and necessary adjustments within SAP.

• Engage in workshops with key users and relevant business areas.

• Create functional specifications as needed.

• Aid in the development and integration of tax solutions along with third-party systems.

• Conduct and oversee unit, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Facilitate solution acceptance and validation in partnership with business areas.

• Identify effects on interfaces, integrations, and electronic tax documentation.

• Assist in preparing test data and scenarios pertinent to the Tax Reform.

• Develop functional and technical documentation for modified processes.

• Support activities related to go-live and solution stabilization (hypercare).

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as an SAP MM Consultant.

• Proficient in tax determination within purchasing and goods receipt processes.

• Background in SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, or support projects.

• Proven experience in gathering requirements, executing testing, and facilitating user acceptance.

• Capability to collaborate directly with business users.

• Previous involvement in projects concerning Brazil’s Tax Reform.

• Understanding of the implications of CBS and IBS on SAP processes.

• Familiarity with electronic tax documents and inbound processes.

• Experience with tax solutions that integrate with SAP.

• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.

• Experience with Brazil Localization (SAP Brazil Localization).

• Background in tax and fiscal compliance projects.
