This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Design and implement a partner strategy within the designated DACH region, emphasizing revenue enhancement.
• Perform territory and competitor assessments to aid in go-to-market strategies.
• Create collaborative business plans that address enablement, demand generation, deal execution, skill development in delivery, and customer references.
• Work alongside OpenText and partner stakeholders to pinpoint market opportunities and provide value to mutual customers.
• Participate in local events, sales meetings, account planning sessions, partner evaluations, and marketing initiatives.
• Advocate for and inform SAP and partner field representatives about OpenText.
• Engage in preliminary opportunities to assess and convey the OpenText value proposition, helping to establish the sales cycle.
• Define market possibilities, strategies, and business plans in collaboration with sales leadership across the DACH area.
• Oversee and report on progress against established plans.
• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to implement business plans.
• Cultivate senior executive advocates within SAP and partner accounts.
• Coordinate enablement and demand generation efforts.
• Manage localization needs with partners and Product Management.
• Collaborate with SAP and strategic partners to sell to their customer base.
• Establish and nurture relationships to boost Mid-Market sales.
• Formulate strategic, sustainable partnerships and enhance market share against competitors.
• Achieve assigned sales and pipeline objectives.
• Execute a structured model with selected partners as part of the OpenText Global Partner Program.
• Share business plans and updates via meetings, conference calls, and business reviews.
• Align forecasts between partners and OpenText.
• Propel partner revenue, partner-originated pipeline, and year-over-year revenue growth in the assigned region.
• At least 5+ years of experience in field sales, partner management, or partner sales.
• Proven history of achieving or surpassing quotas in direct sales or partner management positions.
• Experience collaborating with SAP license sales teams and major software or SaaS providers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong grasp of sales and marketing fundamentals.
• Exceptional program and project management skills.
• Capability to operate effectively at all organizational levels, from CEO/Managing Director downwards, with a high degree of diplomacy.
• Experience in creating enablement programs for sales teams and partner channels.
• Ability to articulate, communicate, and educate partners and customers regarding the business value propositions of complex software and solution offerings.
• Business proficiency in both German and English, written and spoken.
